M.O.D.O.K. Logo / Marvel / Hulu

I sat down and binged this series, by the end, I was wondering what I had just done to my brain.

M.O.D.O.K.; an acronym for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. The first MODOK is George Tarleton, a former employee of Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.), an arms-dealing organization specializing in futuristic weaponry, who undergoes substantial mutagenic medical experimentation originally designed to increase his intelligence. This particular iteration of the MODOK character tells a little bit of a different story. It insinuates that he was born with the big head that was supposed to come from experiments on himself. Originally the experiments, while successful, resulting in him developing a freakishly overdeveloped head and a stunted body, causing the character’s signature look and use of a hoverchair for mobility. In this new series, the big head and need for a mobility chair are passed down genetically to his daughter. After the experiments, he kills his creators and takes control of A.I.M. Following Tarleton being split from MODOK, the new independent being dubs himself MODOK Superior.

In the television series, he has spent years failing to gain control of the world and battling superheroes along the way. M.O.D.O.K.is removed from his company A.I.M. after it falls into bankruptcy and is sold to the rival evil corporation GRUMBL (Just Be Evil). Additionally, he begins to deal with his taunting family while facing a midlife crisis.

The drinks that follow are preposterous, just like this series! I look forward to another season of this one!
