Jupiter’s Legacy Season 1 Poster / Netflix

It looks like Netflix sent Jupiter’s Legacy to a farm upstate. This show only got one season to prove its usefulness to the streaming giant and it did not get renewed. I am disappointed, as I enjoyed the series despite its flaws. You can check out my review of the series.

As reported by Business Insider the series cost the studio $200 million to produce. It spent half as much time as Shadow and Bone, a series that was renewed, as the number 1 show on the platform, and 9 days less on the top 10. A spin-off series called Super Crooks is still in production showing the world from the point of view of villains. There is the possibility that the stars of the series may return for cameos in the new series.

According to those who read the comics, the storylines of the comic series were messed up in this iteration of the show. The show attempted to tell the backstory of the series at the same time as telling the main story. This split caused the main story to only get a couple of issues into the comic series, and cover much of the backstory that was in another series.

As we pour one out for this series, let’s try some of these drinks that I have crafted for each one of the episodes of Jupiter’s Legacy.
