M.O.D.O.K. in the Bar with No Name / Marvel /Hulu

Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. Television Show has hit Hulu, bringing obscure Marvel comic characters to life with the honesty and enthusiasm of the true fan creation. To celebrate this new series I have put together a M.O.D.O.K. Theme menu with a drink an episode. Let’s enjoy these cocktails while we wait for a second season. 

Episode 1 – “If This Be… M.O.D.O.K.!”

Some kids prefer Spooderman

Highball Glass with Ice

• 0.5 oz Grenadine
• 2 oz Soda
• 1 oz Vodka
• 0.5 oz Blue Curaçao

Add each ingredient in order slowly to a highball glass to ensure layering of the drink.

Episode 2 – “The M.O.D.O.K. That Time Forgot”

Death By Strawberry

Old-Fashioned Glass with Ice

• 2 Fresh Sliced Strawberries
• 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
• 0.5 oz Maple Syrup
• 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
• Splash of Soda
• Lemon Slice

Muddle the strawberries, lemon juice, and maple syrup in an old-fashioned glass. Add ice and bourbon to the glass. Splash with soda and garnish with a lemon slice.

Episode 3 – “Beware from What Portal Comes!”

Ciegrimite Cooler

Highball Glass with Ice

• 0.5 oz Vodka
• 0.5 oz Tequila
• 0.5 oz White Rum
• 0.5 oz Gin
• 0.5 oz Cointreau
• 0.5 oz Midori
• 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
• Fill Lemon Lime Soda

Add ingredients except for the soda to a highball glass with ice, and stir. Fill with lemon-lime soda.

Episode 4 – “If Saturday Be… For the Boys!”

L.O.U.I.S. – Lanky Organism Undeniably Irresistible and Syphilitic

Highball Glass with Ice

• 1.5 oz Gin
• 0.5 oz Crème de Framboise Liqueur
• 0.5 oz Lime Juice
• Fill Ginger Ale

Add gin, liqueur, and juice to a highball glass filled with ice. Fill with ginger ale.

Episode 5 – “If Bureaucracy Be Thy Death!”

Blackhole Gun, won’t you come

Highball Glass with Ice

• 1.0 oz Whiskey
• 0.25 oz Black Sambuca
• Fill Cherry Cola Soda

Add whiskey and sambuca to a highball glass with ice. Fill with cherry cola soda.

Episode 6 – “Tales from the Great Bar-Mitzvah War!”

Even Bigger Honking Squirrel

Old-Fashioned Glass with Ice

• 2 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whisky
• 0.25 oz Amaretto
• 0.25 oz Simple Syrup

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into an old-fashioned glass with ice.

Episode 7 – “This Man… This Makeover!”

Wonderjo

Copper mug or Old-Fashioned Glass

• 1.5 oz Vodka
• 0.5 oz Wondermint Peppermint Schnapps
• 8 oz of Ginger Beer.

Add vodka and schnapps to a copper mug with ice. Fill with ginger beer.

Episode 8 – “O, Were Blood Thicker Than Robot Juice!”

Murder World Martini

Martini Glass

• 2 oz Gin
• 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 0.75 oz Campari
• 2 Dashes of Bitters
• Maraschino Cherry

Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Episode 9 – “What Menace Doth the Mailman Deliver!”

Big Mike’s Hunting Cocktail

Old-Fashioned Glass with Ice

• 1 oz Jägermeister
• 1 oz Coconut Rum
• 1 oz Pineapple Juice
• Maraschino Cherry

Add ingredients to an old-fashioned glass with ice, and garnish with a cherry.

Episode 10 – “Days of Future M.O.D.O.K.s”

Backup Wiener

Highball Glass with Ice

• 0.5 oz vodka
• 0.5 oz Triple Sec
• 1 oz Peach Schnapps

Add ingredients to a highball glass with ice, and stir.
